V-storage is a unique suite of products and services designed to proactively protect your systems and data. Most offsite backup/replication solutions provide only one point of recovery which resides in a data facility. Our solution places a device at your location for your daily recovery needs while replicating your valuable information offsite daily to provide a tertiary location in the event of a complete system outage.
V-Storage allows system administrators to replace time-consuming manual and error-prone processes with fast, reliable, automated recovery to dramatically minimize downtime and avoid disaster. You will also have the piece of mind knowing that our professionals will check and verify your backup and replication every day and inform you if problems exists.
V-Storage has the capability to bring your entire network online at our virtual datacenter environment within a couple of hours in times of an emergency. In this day and age, an emergency may be defined as water damage from a burst pipe on a higher floor, flu pandemic or extended power outage.
V-Storage consists of four components
- Verti-NAS enclosure - This device replaces or enhances your existing removable media with a 10TB (or larger of necessary) network attached storage device (NAS).
- Recovery software - All necessary agent software is included in your monthly fee.
- Offsite storage – Our SAS 70 compliant colocation facility stores your replicated information in a secure environment.
- Monitoring - Vertisys will monitor your backup and replication every day as part of your V-Storage contract.
