We would like to welcome two new employees to the Vertisys family – Denise Crawford and Avery McClain.  We would also like to spotlight one of our newer Network Engineers, Andy Gaston.

Andy Gaston joined the Vertisys family about a year ago as a Network Engineer.  He most recently worked as a Systems Administrator, responsible for maintaining and improving network and server systems.  With over 7 years of experience, Andy has worked overseeing the installation, configuration and maintenance of networked information systems.  Andy earned a degree in Management Information Systems from Georgia College & State University.

In his role as Network Engineer, Andy is responsible for assisting clients with the installation of new hardware, systems, and software for networks.  Additionally, Andy performs troubleshooting analysis of servers, workstations and associated systems.  Andy is also our in-house Cisco Phone Specialist.  He has the skills and knowledge required to successfully install, configure, monitor, and support the advanced capabilities of Cisco routing and switching solutions.

Denise Crawford joined the company in January as our Training Manager.  She has over 20 years of corporate training and course development experience with a specialty in business systems project work and specialist application delivery.  Denise is a Member of the British Institute for Learning and Development (BILD), has a Training Assessment Program (TAP) Certification in Training Delivery from The Training Foundation, London and studied Information Technology at Open University in London.

In her role as Training Manager, Denise will be responsible for the delivery of standard and advanced training programs and workshops, including course customization.  She will also provide training delivery via WebEx technology and face to face classroom training, coaching and facilitating blended learning sessions. Denise will be available to design and develop training course materials and end-user guides to meet the client’s specific training needs.

Avery McClain joins the team as a Level 2 Analyst.  Avery has over three years of solid technical experience providing client support as a Technical Support Analyst. He is well versed in a variety of different hardware and software for small-to-medium scale networks. 

In his capacity as a Level 2 Analyst, Avery will provide day-to-day end user support to clients.  He will also assist clients in diagnosing problems and determine the necessary corrective action.
